Broker execution, stops and losses depend on market conditions and enabled permissions. Trading involves risk.
HISTORICAL MT5 STRATEGY TESTER · XAUUSD M1
Two historic test settings, the same 585 closed trades. Simulated net returns stand beside maximum relative equity drawdowns, so you can see the trade-off—not just the headline.

+79.92%Test setup: XAUUSD M1, MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester, September 1, 2025–September 25, 2026; US$100,000 starting balance and 1:30 test leverage. Both runs used matching trade-entry and exit events. These results apply to the EA, not the free Indicators.
Risk assumptions: Planned initial risk of 0.15% and 0.50% corresponded to approximately US$150 and US$500 at the starting balance. Those are not fixed cash amounts or loss caps. Slippage, spread, costs, gaps and broker execution can affect results; actual broker results can differ.
Limitations: These are historical simulations, not live performance or prop-firm results. A Strategy Tester label alone does not establish history quality. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
A SIGNAL IS ONLY THE START
A signal tells you when to pay attention. Pulse Trade is built to evaluate eligible entries, calculate planned position size, place permitted orders and manage qualifying trades under your settings.
Research-based profile selection, planned risk, eligible order placement and conditional position management—all working together.
A BUY or SELL marker gives you a visual reference to examine. That's useful—but it is not a filled broker order.
INTELLIGENCE INTO EXECUTION
Pulse Trade selects the researched profile for a compatible instrument—without external preset hunting.
Set planned initial risk. The EA calculates eligible order volume against stop distance and broker specifications.
When the rules qualify and permissions allow, the EA can place and protect broker positions automatically.
Conditional break-even, target and profit-protection routines support eligible trades after entry.
You remain responsible for account exposure, broker permissions, connectivity and supervision. Planned stops are not guaranteed loss limits.

THE PRACTICAL DETAILS
Know what the software does—and where broker execution and your own judgment still matter.
No. The MT5 EA is a separate automation product that can evaluate eligible setups, calculate position size, submit broker orders and manage supported positions. Free indicators only show chart references.
No. Orders and protective levels depend on strategy eligibility, market conditions, broker execution and account settings. The EA does not enforce every firm's daily or total loss limit, and no challenge outcome is guaranteed.
No. Pulse Trade selects its researched profile for a compatible instrument automatically. This does not mean the software constantly self-learns or that quarterly research guarantees improved returns.
Yes. Each has its own available platform listing. The free MT4 Indicator is published; the MT4 EA is not. Indicators do not inherit EA performance results or execute trades.
Start with the current product support guide and the EA's official MQL5 page. Review broker symbols, permissions, risk and the MT5 Experts/Journal tab.
